The breakfast was amazing, probably the best we've had in a long time. the location was also great, with easy access to beautiful natural areas for hiking or climbing. Another advantage was the friendly and welcoming staff, who made us feel at home during our stay.

On the negative side, the shower/toilet situation was quite problematic. After a shower, the bathroom would flood, forcing us to wear shoes to use the facilities.

The room was very very small ,could barely turn around in the shower , the most disappointing thing was the couple in the next room had no respect for anyone else ,as they were very noisy and only when I banged on the wall at 2.30 am did they stop .

I recently stayed at a charming and cozy hotel in Pontneddfechan for 2 nights. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated, with friendly and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, and I highly recommend making a reservation. The hotel is conveniently located near hiking trails that lead to stunning waterfalls and scenic rivers. It was the perfect base for exploring the area.

The location of this lodge is perfect for nature enthusiasts, as it is situated right at the beginning of the waterfalls' trail. the rooms have a charming country-like atmosphere, with wooden bunk beds adding to the rustic feel. the pub downstairs offers delicious food and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Parking can be an issue, as there is no designated parking area and road spaces tend to fill up quickly due to the lodge's popularity.

As a tourist, I loved the cozy and clean atmosphere of this cute hotel. the staff were excellent and very helpful, making our stay enjoyable. the beds were comfortable and we slept well. the location was great for accessing the Waterfall Walks and exploring the beautiful Ystradfellte valley. the bistro downstairs served delicious food, and there was also a pub nearby for evening meals.

Felt like home, no reason to complain.

We were lucky to have the quadruple room for ourselves and it was a delightful stay at the lodge. The location was excellent in a safe area and the bed was very comfortable.

We stayed at this quaint and beautifully decorated lodge for a short trip. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely amazing, with generous servings. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby Sgwd Gwladys waterfall, just a pleasant walk across the road. It was also a convenient starting point for driving to the other waterfalls in the area, just a 10-minute drive away. The room we stayed in was compact but comfortable, and the extra touches like boot storage were appreciated.

The database mentioned the cleanliness throughout the bedroom, communal areas, and restaurant. the presentation of the bedroom was fantastic, and the food from the restaurant was also great. the staff were amazing, kind, and friendly. They even went above and beyond to help with my dog's comfort in the heat, arranging for a fan to be brought to the room. there was a boot store available, which was a welcome addition. the location was perfect for local walks and there were two great pubs for food alternatives nearby.

The database provided only positive reviews and had no complaints, so it felt most welcome and there was nothing to complain about.

The value for money at this hotel was great, and the room had a fun and quirky vibe with everything you need. The location was fantastic, close to "waterfall country" and perfect for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even better.

The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be to offer a wider variety of items.

We had a fantastic stay at Sgwd Gwladys Lodge. The location was perfect for accessing waterfall country, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Despite a few minor drawbacks, our overall experience was wonderful.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Good quality breakfast and excellent coffee. Convenient location for accessing Waterfall County. Clean and well-maintained with access to Netflix on the TV. Angel Pub opposite offers good food.

I was lucky to have the quadruple room all to myself during my stay at Sgwd Gwladys Lodge. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room itself was lovely. The staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was absolutely superb. The lodge is also perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Waterfalls Country right on its doorstep. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this lodge for a short break.

The food was delicious, high quality, and the best in Pontneddfechan. The rooms were comfortable, provided everything we needed, and had convenient storage for walking boots. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for walks in Waterfall Country, with breathtaking scenery.
